We found this shoreline on a foggy October morning and never quite left. We built Brume slowly, in pale oak, charred cedar and more glass than our engineer liked.
We live twenty minutes up the road. Before you arrive we lay the fire, stock the pantry from the farm stands in Carnation, and leave the canoe at the dock with the paddles aboard.
